When I read the responses of men, there is always this implied threat that they aren’t going to date American women, as if their mere presence in a relationship is some sort of gift. It’s this thinly veiled stupid threat of “you’ll die alone.”

But what you don’t see addressed is that American women aren’t going overseas to buy a husband. This seems to expose something American men don’t want to admit — they need a woman more than women need him. It’s a painful truth. If men can’t get one locally, they will prey upon someone desperate in another country. Hell, they probably prefer that they don’t speak English.

You really must ask yourself why men aren’t seeking brides from France, Iceland or Sweden. Most speak English. The women are beautiful and educated. It’s the same in all Western countries — they can’t get dates in the US — they can’t compete.

The uncomfortable question is why do they seek women from poorer countries?

We know the answer — it’s because the man’s (comparative) wealth buys him an advantage in the dating marketplace. He doesn’t have to compete in looks or emotional intelligence, he doesn’t have to be smart, funny, capable, or a partner as demanded by American women. He can dangle the promise of a better life to lure some hottie from Russia or Ukraine and the only requirement is that he has a job. Men really don’t want the bar any higher.

Think about that. It’s MEN who make it a competition and are basically saying, “If you don’t lower your standards, you won’t have a low standard man to serve.” Yet they don’t seek out high caliber women, instead they seek women who are desperate to bring them back as sex partners.

And there’s a term for that.
