Trump’s Republican base doesn’t vote for anything. They vote against people — those they don’t want in the White House, in the country, or in the voting booth.

They no longer have a policy nor are they furthering an agenda. They have put forth no ideas to improve the lives of people — even their rich patrons. The health and happiness of someone with a billion dollars doesn’t improve with a billion more.

Oh, they pay lip service to certain Elysian ideals that they don’t really support.

Trump voters know exactly what he is — a blustering fool, a liar, a dangerous con man. But they will excuse that because they got what they want and the end justifies the means.

At least be fucking honest about it instead of pretending these people are anything else.
