The GOP Is to Blame for Hate Speech on Social Media
Before we tackle the subject of regulating social media, we should define the problem.
The issue is not hate speech or the resulting loss of first amendment rights.
The problem is a failure to provide external oversight by those in a position of authority. This has forced platforms into a position where they must regulate its members.
