Medium writers don’t need guaranteed pay — they need guaranteed curation.

Despite having tens of thousands of followers on various social media platforms, my own efforts at distributing my work have been largely unsuccessful.

Besides, I simply don’t have the time to write as well as promote my work. I find it frustrating to spend a week researching and writing an article — using up all my free time — only to watch it take months to gain traction. If it’s a timely subject, a wait is not acceptable.

Honestly, I would pay considerably more to any platform including Medium that guaranteed distribution of my stories. The last two months with Medium have been my highest earnings because of the guaranteed readership and this type of distribution arrangement going forward would encourage me to publish more consistently.
