I am surprised that COVID wasn’t a political hill. My family thinks it’s a “hoax” — they eat in restaurants maskless and attend their church services. As ardent Trump supporters, they treat it like they do their sports teams.

I have given up on reaching them because the core issue is their willful ignorance. They *delight* in their rejection of being informed.

That can’t be fixed.
